Haus- und Schutzbrief, Neuruppin No. 2204<\/strong><\/p>

Seit dem 17. Jh. erfreuten sich Schutzbriefe immer gr\u00f6\u00dferer Beliebtheit. Sie sollten vor Pest, Kriegsgefahren, Unwetter, Verhexungen, Feuer u. a. sch\u00fctzen. Religi\u00f6ses und magisches Brauchtum vermischten sich hier. Gebet und Beschw\u00f6rung, Benediktion und Zaubersegen sind teilweise auf dem gleichen Blatt Papier anzutreffen. Gedruckte Schutzbriefe fanden z.
