Den 12. Ma\u0308rz 1923 zahlte ich Georg Velte hier fu\u0308r 1 Paar Milchschweine 1,2 Billionen Mark. Ist alles sehr teuer geworden, 1 Million ist gegenwa\u0308rtig das kleinste Geld. Unter Milliarden kann man nichts mehr kaufen, auch den kleinsten Gegenstand nicht.
Diese Woche kostet\u00a0<\/p>

  • 1 Ltr Milch 18 Milliarden<\/li>
  • 1 Pfund Butter 75 – 120 Milliarden<\/li>
  • 1 Ei 17 Milliarden<\/li>
  • Brot und Mehl kann man bereits nicht mehr kaufen, geht auf die Hunderte v. Milliarden.<\/li>
  • \u00bc Wein kostet heute 75 – 80 Milliarden<\/li>
  • 1 Flasche Bier 60- 70 Milliarden.
    Erlauben kann man sich zu diesem Preis kein Viertel Wein oder Bier mehr.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>

    Die alten Leute sind arg u\u0308bel dran, wo kein Verdienst mehr haben. Nur die Schieber und Hamsterer ko\u0308nnen noch ihre Wohllust haben u. wir sehen es voraus, da\u00df man noch nicht am ho\u0308chsten angelangt ist. Es kommt noch schwerer, dann wa\u0308re es besser, die alten Leute, wo nicht mehr mittun ko\u0308nnen, gingen alle vorher heim. Aber die Beerdigungskosten steigen sich so hoch, da\u00df das scho\u0308nste Vermo\u0308gen darauf geht bis eins vergraben ist. Wenn nicht noch Kinder (Nachfahren) da sind, wo noch ein gutes Herz haben fu\u0308r ihre Eltern, da\u00df man sie halbwegs noch ansta\u0308ndig vergraben la\u0308sst und nicht noch in ein Loch hineinschmei\u00dfen muss wie ein Stu\u0308ck Vieh, welches verlocht werden muss.\u00a0<\/p>

    Es kann ja alles noch so weit kommen, wenn wir nicht bald andere Zeiten bekommen. Die Ansicht hat es ja nicht, da\u00df es besser kommen will, von Tag zu Tag schlechter.\u00a0<\/p>

    Fu\u0308r heute jetzt genug. Sollte mir das Leben noch la\u0308nger beschieden sein, so werde ich weiter berichten.<\/p>
