Weil auf dem Friedhof in Schmie die Schrift auf einem Portalstein aus dem Jahr 1826 durch Witterungseinfl\u00fcsse immer schwerer zu lesen ist – aus Gr\u00fcnden des Denkmalschutzes diese aber nicht nachgearbeitet werden kann – konnte die komplette Inschrift auf einer Glasplatte, die vom \u00f6rtlichen Steinmetz Roger Walter auf einer Sandsteins\u00e4ule befestigt worden ist, f\u00fcr die Nachwelt erhalten werden.<\/p>

In einer feierlichen Zeremonie wurde das so gesicherte Kleindenkmal unter Beisein von B\u00fcrgermeister Andreas Felchle, dem Pfarrer Dr. Lukas Lorbeer, dem Vorsitzenden des B\u00fcrgervereins Schmie Ulrich Klotz, sowie Karl Velte als dem Vertreter von der BWV, die den Erhalt in der Gemeinderatsfraktion beantragt hatte, festlich enth\u00fcllt.<\/p>

Der Text geht wohl auf eine Inschrift an der T\u00fcr zum Kirchhof in den Dalkauer Bergen bei Gro\u00df-Glogau in Niederschlesien zur\u00fcck. Der Text findet sich in einem Buch des Autors Ludwig Anton Hassler \u201eDer Wandler unter den Gr\u00e4bern\u201c, das 1816 im Freiburg im Breisgau ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde.<\/p>

Die Kosten wurden vom \u00f6rtlichen B\u00fcrgerverein und der Stadt Maulbronn je zur H\u00e4lfte getragen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
